February 14, 2026, 47, Goldsboro – Shamecka S. Braswell, 47, of Holly Street, quietly departed this life on Saturday, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
She was born on December 20, 1978 in Wayne County to William Atkinson and Robin Braswell.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, February 26, at 12 Noon at Word of Truth Christian Fellowship. She will be laid to rest in Barnes Chapel Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the service at the church for visitation and quiet reflection.
