GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Goldsboro man is facing multiple felony charges following the execution of a search warrant that resulted in the seizure of large quantities of illegal narcotics and a firearm, according to the Goldsboro Police Department.
On Feb. 5, 2026, investigators with the Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigations Division executed a search warrant at a residence located on Holly Road. During the search, investigators seized a handgun, approximately 391 grams of crystal methamphetamine, approximately 1,083 grams of fentanyl, and materials consistent with the manufacturing of illegal narcotics.
Police identified the suspect as Corey Barnett, 54, of Goldsboro. Barnett was taken into custody and is currently being held with no bond.
