January 5, 2026, 83, La Grange – Janice Faye Ham Radford, 83, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Greene County on January 12, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Alton Lee and Alma Rhee Taylor Ham.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her beloved daughter-in-law, Debbie Owens and brothers, Alton Lewis Ham and Kenneth Ham.
Faye is survived by her husband of almost 32 years, Keith Radford; children, Janet Lane (Jeff), Jeffrey Owens, Daren Radford (Rhonda Teachey), and Neicy Anderson (Todd); grandchildren, Brittany Daughtry (Craig), Tyler Owens, Tendall Owens (Josh), Madalyn Piner (Adam), Riley Radford, Alexis Anderson, Travis Lane, and Scarlett Lane; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Jedson, Caroline, Brayden, Samuel, and Willow; siblings, Dora Parrish and Daphine Ham; and several nieces and nephews.
Faye was a devoted member of Walnut Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church, where her faith and quiet service reflected the values by which she lived. She found joy in tending to her flower beds, nurturing beauty wherever she planted her hands. Artistic by nature, Faye loved coloring and painting, expressing her creativity through color and design. She also enjoyed shopping and was always impeccably dressed—her hair and makeup carefully done, a reflection of the dignity and grace she carried every day.
An excellent cook, Faye was known for keeping a warm, welcoming home, where a hot meal was always on the table. She faithfully cared for her family, embracing her role as the caretaker with love, dedication, and an unwavering sense of responsibility. In quieter moments, she found comfort in watching her favorite television “stories” and Lifetime movies, a simple pleasure she truly cherished. Above all else, Faye’s greatest joy in life was being a grandma and eventually a great-grandma. She had a deep, unwavering love for her grandkids.
As Faye’s health declined, the roles she had long filled with devotion were returned to her through the loving care of Keith. He became her caregiver and took exceptional care of her, surrounding her with patience, compassion, and steadfast love. Their life together stands as a testament to true love—faithful, enduring, and selfless.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Rouse Funeral Home, followed by a service to celebrate Faye’s life at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Don Fleming officiating. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of 3HC for their loving and compassionate care provided to Faye and her family over the past year.
