Goldsboro, N.C. — A 15-year-old juvenile has been charged in connection with a December shooting that sent bullets into multiple homes on Lincoln Drive, according to the Goldsboro Police Department.
Police said officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 12:27 p.m. on Dec. 19, 2025, reporting multiple gunshots in the 1000 block of Lincoln Drive. Investigators determined approximately 12 rounds were fired and that several individuals were shot at. Three nearby residences were also struck by gunfire.
The department’s Criminal Investigations Division launched an investigation and identified a suspect. On Jan. 5, 2026, police charged a juvenile from Goldsboro in the case.
The 15-year-old faces charges including attempted first-degree murder, three counts of discharging a firearm into occupied property, injury to real property, and discharging a firearm within city limits.
No additional details were released due to the suspect’s age.
