December 20, 2025, 98, Fremont – Charlotte Fields Aycock, 98, of Fremont, went to her heavenly home Saturday, December 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Aycock was born in Wayne County on December 12, 1927 to the late Arthur Gideon Fields and Thelma Clara Warren Fields. She was a lifelong member of Fremont Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons and their spouses, Lamar Aycock and wife, Terrye of Goldsboro, Julian Aycock and wife, Debbie of Fremont, David Aycock and wife, Kimberle’ of Fremont; one brother, Gene Fields and wife, Deborah of Pikeville; sister-in-law, Audelia Blankenship of Fremont; eight grandchildren, Kevin Aycock (Yira Boada), Kelly Aycock Shiel (Tom), Rhett Aycock (Sarah), Rhia Aycock Nakamura (JP), Maegan Aycock, Azlynn Aycock Tyson (Jordan), Shawn Sadler (Angela), Ryan Sadler (Brandy) and four great-grandchildren, Katherine, Dean, Jet and Walker-Blair.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald L. Aycock and one brother, Graham Fields.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 26, 2025 at Fremont Missionary Baptist Church at 108 N. Vance St. Fremont, NC. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont, NC. The family will receive friends following the burial at the church fellowship hall.
