April 3, 2026, 63, Princeton – Charles Bryant Godwin, Jr., 63, passed away at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield on April 3, 2026. He was born on March 10, 1963 in Johnston County to the late Charles Bryant Godwin and Lillie Mae Smith Edwards.
Charles is survived by his sons, Brandon Godwin (Heather) of Princeton, and Ryan Godwin of Princeton; sisters, Kimberly Pittman (Mark) of Jacksonville, FL, Arlene Pittman (Tim) of Kenly; grandchildren, Grant Ryan Godwin, Allyson Lee Godwin and Janna Reece Godwin.
There will be no formal services at this time.
