March 26, 2026, 57, Goldsboro – Lisa Ann Lewis, 57, passed away peacefully at her home on March 26, 2026. She was born on January 30, 1969, in Wayne County to Royce and Patricia Lewis.
Lisa was a woman who lived life on her own terms—she always spoke her mind, and with her, there was no in-between. You always knew where she stood, and that honesty was a reflection of her strength and character. She was a true warrior, a natural-born protector, and someone her family could always count on. Her love for those closest to her ran deep, and she never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Though she carried a strong spirit, she found her greatest comfort in the simple joy of being at home, surrounded by the people she loved.
In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her sister, Tina Moody, and her nephew, Phoenix Lewis Hill.
She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory, including her sisters, Sherry Lewis Earnest, Tammy Kearney (Jim), and Kayla Ormond; and her nephews, Cameron Smith and John Mark Hill, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Lisa’s presence was bold, her love was fierce, and her loyalty was unwavering. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. A graveside service to honor Lisa’s life will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Princeton with Pastor Andy Stovall officiating.
The family is in the care of Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
