GOLDSBORO — The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated Goldsboro Alumnae Chapter is set to host the 2026 , an event highlighting the talent, leadership, and academic achievement of young women in the community.
The pageant will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the Dillard Middle School Auditorium. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m.
This year’s theme, “A Legacy of Excellence: Where Brilliance Meets Purpose,” will guide an evening designed to celebrate four outstanding contestants as they showcase their poise, creativity, and confidence. The Miss Jabberwock pageant, a long-standing tradition of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, emphasizes academic success, personal development, and a strong commitment to community service.
Throughout the event, participants will take part in multiple segments reflecting their individuality and dedication, all while competing for the prestigious title of Miss Jabberwock 2026. Organizers say the evening promises to highlight not only talent and intellect, but also the purpose-driven spirit that defines the program’s legacy.
In addition to celebrating local youth, the pageant serves as a key fundraiser supporting scholarships and educational initiatives. The Goldsboro Alumnae Chapter continues to invest in the community through mentorship programs, scholarships, and outreach efforts aimed at uplifting students and fostering future leaders.
Community members, families, and supporters are encouraged to attend and take part in what organizers describe as an inspiring and empowering evening dedicated to recognizing excellence.
