GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Families in Wayne County will have an opportunity to enroll their children at Dillard Academy Charter School during its upcoming New Student Registration Day scheduled for next Wednesday.
The event will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on campus, located at 504 W. Elm Street in Goldsboro. School officials say the registration day is designed to help streamline the enrollment process for new students while giving families a chance to learn more about the academy’s academic programs and supportive learning environment.
Dillard Academy offers a blended academic approach focused on maximizing individual student growth in a family-oriented setting. As a free public charter school, the academy serves students across the region and emphasizes both academic achievement and personal development.
For families registering kindergarten students, several requirements must be met. Children must be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2026. Parents or guardians should also bring a certified birth certificate, current immunization records, an NC Health Assessment Transmittal Form (physical), and two proofs of residency.
School leaders encourage families to attend during the designated hours to ensure all necessary documentation is completed ahead of the upcoming school year.
For more information, families can contact the school directly at (919) 581-0128.
