March 14, 2026, 68, Mount Olive – Charles Ray Galyon, Jr., resident of Mount Olive, passed away Saturday night, March 14, 2026, at the age of 68.
Mr. Galyon, born in Dallas, Texas, had been a millwright for most of his life. A motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed riding on the open roads with fellow biking friends.
Locally, he is survived by his wife, Catherine Williams Galyon, and a step-son, David Arnett and wife, Kay, all of Mount Olive. Other survivors include his mother, Patricia Pengelly Galyon, of New Boston, Texas; two sons, a daughter; several grandchildren; two brothers, and their families.
His father, Charles Ray Galyon, Sr., preceded him in death.
