March 11, 2026, 67, Goldsboro – Charlotte Ann Cochran Reece, 67, passed away at ECU Medical Center on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born in Roanoke, Virginia on November 25, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Walter Cochran and Katherine Kane Cochran.
Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Dean Reece of Goldsboro; sons, Anothy Dean Reece, Jr. (Crystal) of Zebulon, and John Matthew Reece (Lauren) of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Deacon Kane Reece and Lynn Johnson; brothers, Robert Cochran (Shelly) of Salem, Virginia, and Steven Cochran of Roanoke, Virginia; and special brother-in-law, Larry Reece Boones Mill, Virginia.
Charlotte’s greatest joy in life was her family. She loved deeply and wholeheartedly, always putting those she cared about first. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Whether it was sharing stories, laughter around the table, or simply being together, Charlotte created a home filled with warmth, love, and lasting memories.
Charlotte had a strong work ethic and took great pride in her work in the food industry. Through dedication and commitment, she became an Assistant Manager at Burger King, where she built lasting friendships and earned the respect of those she worked with. She truly enjoyed serving others and took pride in doing her job well.
Charlotte was an excellent cook who loved preparing homemade meals for her family. Cooking was one of the many ways she showed her love, and her kitchen was often the heart of the home where family gathered, shared stories, and enjoyed the meals she made with care.
Charlotte will be remembered for her loving heart, her dedication to her family, and the comfort she brought to those around her. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished so deeply and the countless memories they will carry with them forever.
A memorial service for Charlotte will be held at a later date.
