March 6, 2026, 79, Princeton – William “Bill” Gene Acree, 79, of Princeton passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
A graveside service where he will be laid to rest beside his wife, Monika Acree will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Bill was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 11, 1946. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Cherishing his memories include his devoted son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Tammy Acree of Princeton and one daughter, Nicole Moir of Canada; one sister, Christine Goldsmith and husband, Jerry and his beloved pets, Buddy and Maggie.
