March 10, 2026, 64, Seven Springs – Kevin Matthew Price, 64 of Seven Springs, NC went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. His first love was Qunicy, his four-legged best friend. Kevin was a very outgoing, fun-loving man who loved his family and loved to cook rather on the grill or on the stove making his famous cube steak and gravy. The pride he took to see the smiles in the faces he cooked for. He always had a joke or two to tell you rather you thought it was funny or not, it was to him. Kevin had a special love for his family and long-time friends, never forgot a face. He loved to laugh a lot.
The son of Mollie Kornegay Price and the late Wildon Harry Price. Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife Dawanna Price of Kinston; Sister and best friend, Melody Smith (Steven) of Seven Springs; Brother, Kenneth Kornegay (fiancée Denise) of Seven Springs; Bother Alan Hughes (Rhonda) of Seven Springs; Sister Kim Stroud (Larry) of Mount Olive. Daughter Heather Shea Price of Seven Springs; Kristi Newton (Jeff) of Travelers Rest (SC); Jayda Sugg of Kinston; 9 grandchildren that he loved very much, Logan Rochelle of Travelers Rest (SC); Kryslin Price of Seven Springs; Janiah Threatt of Kinston; Jaylin Dunn of Seven Springs; Brayden Newton of Greenville (SC); Braylin Dunn of Seven Springs; Denali Dunn of Seven Springs; Syncere Jones of Kinston; Mia Jones of Kinston. Also, Special friends Lynn Price and the late Tony Price of Seven Springs.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM, with visitation at 2:00 PM at The Bridge Church of Goldsboro, 1065 N. Berkeley Blvd, Goldsboro NC 27534. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kitty Atkins Hospice Care. At other times family will be meeting at the home of Steven and Melody Smith, 350 Mince Hill Road, Seven Springs, NC 28578
