March 7, 2026, 89, Goldsboro – Carolyn Faye Ginn Webb, 89, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Wayne County on September 4, 1936, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Roy and Bertha Ginn.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Webb; her son, Dennis Reeves; her sisters, Dorothy Herring, Clara Edmundson, and Lois Sasser; and her brothers, Garland Ginn and Milford Ginn.
Carolyn spent many years working as a hairdresser from her home, where her chair was more than a place for styling hair—it was a place for friendship, laughter, and conversation. Her clients quickly became dear friends, and she cherished the opportunity to catch up with each of them while doing what she loved.
Above all else, Carolyn loved her family. She took great pride in caring for them and creating a warm and welcoming home. Known as a wonderful cook, she found joy in bringing her family together around the table, where meals were filled with love, laughter, and treasured memories. Later in life, as her health declined, her family lovingly returned the care she had given so freely throughout the years.
Carolyn also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Frank. Whether accompanying him on trips to the coast while he fished offshore or planning family vacations that included her children and grandchildren, she delighted in creating opportunities for everyone to be together and enjoy time as a family.
Carolyn’s life was defined by love, devotion, and the joy she found in caring for those around her. Her kindness, strength, and the many memories she created with her family will forever be treasured.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Linda Woodard; granddaughters, Regan Hannant and husband, Steve, and Jade Pyburn and husband, Alec; great-grandchildren, Karsyn, Ella, Zada, and Gracyn; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
The family of Carolyn would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful caregivers who provided such compassionate care and support while serving her in the home. Your kindness, patience, and dedication brought comfort not only to Carolyn but also to our entire family during a very meaningful time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
