February 20, 2026, 73, Princeton – Forest Lee Edwards, 73, of Princeton passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 6, 1952, in Cumberland County, North Carolina to the late James Vance Edwards and Myrtle Lee Hairr Edwards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Edwards, Linon Edwards, Earl Edwards and Raymond Edwards; and sisters, Becky Wheeler and Jenny Bland.
He is survived by his wife, Vicky Edwards; sons, Bruce Edwards (Christy) of Princeton and Bryan Edwards (Julie) of Kenly; brothers, James Edwards (Becky) of Pine Level, Jerry Edwards of Smithfield; sister, Debra Stanley of Richlands; grandchildren; Katelyn Kearney (Tori), Kasey Griswold (Spencer), Kortney Edwards (Nate), Owen Edwards, Abram Edwards, Ivy Edwards; great grandchildren, Luke Edwards, Peyton Griswold, Reese Kearney, his canine companion Max, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with the Reverend Percy Coleman officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.
