MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. — Inclement weather is prompting several schedule adjustments for the University of Mount Olive Department of Athletics this weekend, impacting tennis, softball and men’s volleyball.
The women’s tennis home match against University of North Carolina Wilmington has been rescheduled to 12 p.m. Friday.
Meanwhile, the Trojans’ softball games against Shaw University scheduled for this weekend have been officially canceled and will not be rescheduled.
Men’s volleyball will remain on the road as planned. Mount Olive is set to face Erskine College on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m., followed by a matchup at Emmanuel College on Sunday, Feb. 22 at noon. In addition, the Trojans’ road contest at North Greenville University has been adjusted, with the start time moved up from 7 p.m. to 6 p.m.
