WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. — A Dudley man is facing multiple felony charges after deputies recovered illegal narcotics, a firearm, and five stolen vehicles during an arrest last month, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
On December 19, 2025, deputies were serving 49 year-old Teddy Alan Moody of Dudley with an arrest warrant at his residence on Outlaw Road. During the arrest, deputies discovered Moody in possession of illegal narcotics.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence and surrounding property. During the search, deputies located additional illegal narcotics, a firearm, and five stolen vehicles. Authorities said the vehicles had been reported stolen from Wayne, Johnston, Sampson, and Wilson counties.
Moody was served with the initial arrest warrant and charged with multiple additional offenses related to drugs, stolen property, and firearm possession.
