January 13, 2026, 75, Goldsboro – Larry Cleon Justice, 75, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Born in Wayne County on March 20, 1950, he was the son of the late William Joseph Justice and Dorothy Marie Sutton Justice.
Larry is survived by his son, Bryan Justice and wife, Iryna; and brother, Jim Justice and wife, Lindy.
Larry dedicated his professional career to working in Vocational Rehabilitation with the State of North Carolina, where he was committed to helping others build independence and opportunity. His work reflected his patience, practicality, and belief in the value of meaningful work.
Outside of his career, Larry found great joy in woodworking, a hobby that allowed him to create with his hands. He also loved to travel, exploring destinations all across North America.
Home for Larry was in the Sleepy Creek community, a place he cherished deeply. He loved being outdoors, especially spending time around the lake.
Larry will be remembered for his steady presence, his skill and creativity, and his appreciation for both adventure and quiet moments. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
In accordance with Larry’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
