GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Goldsboro man was arrested and charged with multiple offenses following a traffic stop conducted by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office DWI Task Force earlier this month.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies conducted a traffic stop on January 10, 2026, for a Chapter 20 traffic violation. During the stop, the driver was identified as Josue Andres Vazquez Ramos, of 125 Longs Plant Farm Road.
Authorities say Vazquez Ramos was arrested for driving while impaired. During a search conducted incident to the arrest, deputies reportedly located suspected cocaine on his person. He was then transported to the Wayne County Detention Center for processing.
Vazquez Ramos was charged with felony possession of cocaine, driving while impaired, driving after consuming while under 21 years old, consuming alcohol by a 20-year-old, no operator’s license, and failure to burn headlamps. He was placed under a $7,500 secured bond.
