Goldsboro, N.C. — The Goldsboro Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance as investigators work to identify a suspect connected to a robbery at the KFC located in the 700 block of East Ash Street.
The incident occurred on Dec. 26, 2025, at approximately 8:04 p.m., when officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area. While officers were en route, police received an additional call reporting that the KFC at that location had just been robbed.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the Goldsboro Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division has released information about a person of interest. Investigators say the individual’s face was covered, making identification difficult; however, the jacket worn during the incident is described as distinctive.
Police are urging anyone who recognizes the jacket or has information that could help identify the suspect to contact Crime Stoppers.
