GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Goldsboro police have identified the three victims injured in a shooting that occurred Monday evening at Tanglewood Mobile Home Park.
According to the Goldsboro Police Department, officers responded at approximately 6:14 p.m. on Dec. 29, 2025, to a reported shooting in the 3200 block of Central Heights Road. Upon arrival, officers located one victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Wayne County Emergency Medical Services transported that victim to UNC Health Wayne for treatment.
Police said a second victim fled the scene toward the area of TJ Maxx on North Berkeley Boulevard, where he sought assistance. That victim was also transported to UNC Health Wayne by EMS. A short time later, a third gunshot wound victim arrived at UNC Health Wayne in a personal vehicle.
One of the victims was later airlifted to ECU Health in Greenville and is currently listed in serious condition. The conditions of the other two victims have not been released.
The victims have been identified as Eddie Hernandez-Gonzalez, 21, of Dudley; Luis Hernandez, 23, of Dudley; and Jaylan Robbins, 23, of Goldsboro.
The Goldsboro Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and Crime Scene Unit continue to actively investigate the incident. Police have previously stated the shooting appears to be isolated and that there is no ongoing threat to the public. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
