GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Goldsboro police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Thursday morning in the 300 block of Brownrigg Street.
According to the Goldsboro Police Department, officers were dispatched to the area at approximately 12:31 a.m. on Dec. 18, 2025, after receiving a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.
Wayne County EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to Wayne UNC Health Care. He was later transferred to ECU Health Medical Center for further treatment. The victim’s condition has not been released.
The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau and Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene to begin a criminal investigation. That investigation remains ongoing.
The victim has been identified as T. Lee Rodriquez Williams, a 41-year-old Black male from Goldsboro.
