December 3, 2025, 67, Dudley — Steven Martin Tracy, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at his residence. Born in Arizona, he was the son of Gennette Martin Tracy and the late Fred Lee Tracy and brother of the late Karen Tracy. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jared Tracy. Steve was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and loved fishing. 

Everyone is welcome to a service to celebrate Steve’s life on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 12:30 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Blane Smith and Rev. Doug Dexter officiating. A committal service with military honors will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday, one hour prior to the service.

In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his wife,  Martha O’Berry Tracy; his daughter, Kristin Mabe; sisters, Dian Lehman and Dawn Guenot; and a grandchild, Grace Elizabeth Mabe.
