Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Task Force Arrests Suspected Methamphetamine Dealer

GOLDSBORO, N.C. – A months-long investigation by the Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Task Force has led to the arrest of a Four Oaks man accused of supplying methamphetamine in southwest Wayne County.

Investigators identified Gregory Scott Coburn, 62, as a source of meth distribution in the region. The operation involved coordinated efforts between the Drug Task Force and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Violence Prevention Response Team (ViPR).

During the investigation, officers developed probable cause to obtain arrest warrants for Coburn. When taken into custody, Coburn was reportedly found with additional methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Authorities also seized a trafficking amount of meth during the operation.

Coburn faces multiple charges, including:

  • Trafficking Methamphetamine
  • Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance
  • Sell Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He is currently being held at the Wayne County Detention Facility under a $100,000 bond.
