Goldsboro, NC – A power outage is impacting approximately 900 Duke Energy customers in the Eastern Wayne area this morning.

According to Duke Energy, the outage is affecting customers along Highway 13 North, beginning at the Highway 42 interchange. Crews are currently working to restore service, and the estimated time of restoration is 10:30 a.m.

Residents are encouraged to use caution while traveling in the affected area, as traffic signals may also be impacted.

Duke Energy reminds customers to report any downed lines and to avoid contact with any wires or equipment until service is fully restored.
