Lorrain was the heart and glue of her family—always bringing everyone together with love, laughter, and grace. Her love for them knew no bounds, and each moment spent together with them was a memory she cherished forever. She was the best mom and nanny to her family.

She had a true love for cooking and was well known for her delicious homemade sausage biscuits, which she made with love and shared generously with family and friends. Her kitchen was always a place of warmth, good food, and even better company.

Lorrain had a deep and steadfast faith and was a devoted member of Kenly Free Will Baptist Church, where she loved worshiping, serving, and lending a helping hand wherever one was needed. Her life was a reflection of her faith—she was always putting others before herself and offering comfort, encouragement, and care to those around her.

Lorrain also had a tender heart for animals and found great joy in caring for them. Her gentle nature and compassion extended to every living creature she encountered.

She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her, but her legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will live on through the many lives she touched.

A graveside service to celebrate Lorrain’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Kenly Cemetery with Pastor Aubrey Williamson presiding. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
