GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Sunrise Kiwanis recently presented a $600 donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern North Carolina, continuing the service organization’s commitment to supporting families in need throughout the community.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern NC serves as a vital resource for families facing the challenging experience of having a hospitalized child. The organization provides a “home away from home” where families can stay close to their loved ones receiving medical care, as well as offering a place for respite within the four walls of ECU Health Medical Center.
These services help ease the financial and emotional burden on families during difficult times, allowing them to focus on their child’s recovery while maintaining a sense of comfort and normalcy.
Sunrise Kiwanis holds weekly meetings every Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. at B&G Grill in Downtown Goldsboro. The club welcomes all community members interested in learning more about their service initiatives and is currently accepting applications for new members.
For more information about joining Sunrise Kiwanis or attending a meeting, interested individuals are encouraged to visit the club during their weekly gathering at B&G Grill.
