Arts Council Launches Monthly “Yoga and Mimosas” Series in Downtown Goldsboro

GOLDSBORO, N.C. – The Arts Council of Wayne County is bringing wellness and community together with the return of its popular “Yoga and Mimosas” program, scheduled to begin Saturday, October 4, 2025, at their downtown location.

The monthly event, held every first Saturday, combines a one-hour rejuvenating yoga session with a social mimosa hour, creating a unique blend of mindfulness and community engagement. Sessions run from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Arts Council facility located at 139 W Walnut St in downtown Goldsboro.

The $15 per person registration fee includes the full yoga session and one complimentary mimosa for participants aged 21 and older. While the event welcomes all ages, alcohol service is strictly limited to adults with proper identification.

The program represents the Arts Council’s continued commitment to offering diverse programming that serves the Wayne County community’s wellness and social needs. The combination of physical activity and social interaction provides participants with both health benefits and networking opportunities in a relaxed, artistic environment.

Pre-registration is required for the monthly sessions, with organizers encouraging early sign-up to secure spots. The initiative marks the return of a previously popular program, suggesting strong community demand for this type of wellness-focused programming.

The October 4 launch date positions the program to become a regular fixture in Goldsboro’s monthly community calendar, offering residents a consistent opportunity to prioritize self-care while connecting with neighbors in the heart of the city’s arts district.

Those interested in participating can register online through the Arts Council’s registration system. For more information about upcoming sessions or other Arts Council programming, contact the organization directly.
