GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Rosewood High School’s JROTC Eagle Battalion will host a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, September 11th, at 9:00 AM on the school’s football field to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
The ceremony is open to the public, with guests asked to arrive no later than 8:30 AM. The event aims to bring together students, faculty, veterans, and community members in a unified tribute to honor the lives lost and recognize the sacrifices made in the aftermath of the attacks.
The JROTC Eagle Battalion’s ceremony continues a tradition of remembrance events held annually across the nation to ensure the memory of that tragic day and its impact on American history remains alive for younger generations.
Community members, veterans, and families are encouraged to attend this solemn occasion as the school and surrounding community pause to reflect on the events of September 11th and honor those who lost their lives in service to others.
