Janice was a remarkable woman whose greatest joy came from raising her children and playing a loving, guiding role in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her home was always a place of comfort, laughter, and the irresistible aroma of something delicious baking in the oven. An extraordinary cook and baker, Janice was known for her mouthwatering country meals and sweet treats that brought everyone to the table and created lasting memories.
She had a passion for gardening and found great pride in her roses, tending to them with the same care and attention she gave to her loved ones. Her green thumb was matched only by her love of country music, which filled her home and heart with melody and joy.
In her younger years, Janice enjoyed playing card games, Scrabble, and dominos—activities that brought out her playful spirit and sharp wit. She also had a love for shopping and never passed up the thrill of a good sale, delighting in finding the perfect item at just the right price.
Janice’s legacy is one of unconditional love, strength, and simple pleasures. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and remembered always for the beauty she brought into the world—through her family, her garden, her kitchen, and her generous heart.
A graveside service to celebrate Janice’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
