Local Partnership Creates Community Shopping Experience
GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A new pop-up market featuring regional vendors, food trucks, and community activities will debut this Saturday in what organizers are calling the first-ever New Day Market.
The event, scheduled for September 13th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., represents a collaboration between The Emerald Cardinal, LLC and Cry Freedom Missions Thrift Shoppe. The partnership aims to create what organizers describe as a vibrant marketplace focused on community engagement and local commerce.
The market will showcase a variety of offerings including handmade goods from local artisans, thrift items, and food from participating food trucks. Organizers emphasize the event’s community-focused atmosphere, positioning it as both a shopping destination and social gathering space.
The New Day Market represents an expansion of local pop-up commerce, providing a platform for regional vendors to reach customers while creating what organizers call “a welcoming space to connect, support, and celebrate.”
The Emerald Cardinal, LLC and Cry Freedom Missions Thrift Shoppe have not announced whether this will be a recurring event or additional dates for future markets.
Community members interested in attending can visit the market throughout its operating hours on Saturday. Organizers encourage attendees to bring friends and family to participate in the day’s activities.
