Vickie Jean Bailey, 81, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Born in Wilson County on April 1, 1944, she was daughter to the late Robert B. Sullivan and Mettie Crocker Sullivan.

Vickie was a devoted wife, mother, and friend whose greatest joy was found in the love of her family. She cherished every moment spent together, especially around the table where her gift for cooking brought comfort and happiness to those she loved most.

She was a member of Mount Zion Original Free Will Baptist Church, where she worshipped and served with a faithful heart. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her, and her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Vickie is survived by her children; Johnny Bailey, Sandra Bailey, Ann Wagner, and Renee Toton; her grandchildren; Justin, Cash and Olivia, her great-grandchildren, Giavanna, Blayden, and Jax; her brother; Joey Sullivan and wife, Jan and her sister, Patricia Goodwin, and husband, W.N.

In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Bailey and her brother, Billy Sullivan.

A graveside service to honor Vickie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Mount Zion O.F.W.B. Church with Rev. Matt Spence officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Services have been entrusted to Kenly Funeral Service.
