La Grange, N.C. — Three juveniles were arrested early Monday morning after allegedly breaking into 15 vehicles in a residential area, according to local law enforcement officials.
Deputies responded to Jarrett Court shortly after 3:30 a.m. on July 14, 2025, following reports of juveniles attempting to break into vehicles. Working alongside a North Carolina State Highway Patrol Trooper, B Shift deputies arrived on scene to find three juveniles attempting to flee the area.
All three suspects were apprehended and taken into custody without further incident, though authorities report the juveniles initially resisted arrest.
A subsequent canvass of the neighborhood revealed the extent of the alleged crime spree. Deputies discovered 15 vehicles had been broken into during the incident. Stolen items from the vehicles were reportedly found in the possession of all three arrested juveniles.
The suspects face multiple charges, including 15 counts of breaking or entering a motor vehicle (felony), six counts of misdemeanor larceny, and two counts of resisting public officers.
Due to the age of the suspects, their identities have not been released. Juvenile petitions are currently being prepared and will be submitted to Juvenile Justice for processing.
The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not released information about the total value of items stolen or whether additional charges may be filed.
Residents in the area are reminded to lock their vehicles and remove valuables to prevent becoming targets of similar crimes.
