Ronald Bourquin West Sr., 89, went to be with his heavenly Father Monday morning, July 7, 2025 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.

A service honoring the life of Ronald will be held at First Christian Church, 1001 S. Crescent Dr. in Smithfield, NC 27577 on Saturday July 12, 2025, at 1:30pm. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. West is survived by his wife of 60 years Lynda Boyd West, two sons, Ronald B. West, Jr. (Patricia) and Jason Landrum West (Tanya), four grandchildren, Dylan Tristan West (Elizabeth),Robert Cannon West, Anna Gail West, Savanna Jane West, and one great grandchild, Genevieve Andrea West.

Ronald was born in Warsaw, Duplin County to the late James Norwood West, Sr. and the late Anna Pollock West

Mr. Ronald West Sr. retired from the Neuse River Wastewater Treatment plant in Raleigh, NC in 1998.
