Weekly Mindfulness Class Offers Relief for Stressed and Overworked Professionals

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — If you’re constantly chasing the next goal, juggling a packed schedule, or struggling to find balance between your personal and professional life, a new weekly mindfulness class aims to help you hit pause—and reconnect with what truly matters.

Titled “Slow Down: Mindfulness for Overachievers,” this interactive group is designed specifically for high-functioning professionals who are driven and ambitious, yet often overwhelmed, burnt out, or feeling disconnected. The class offers practical tools to help participants reduce stress, build self-awareness, and develop a healthier, more sustainable pace.

A Practical Approach to Work-Life Balance

Meeting every Tuesday at 7:00 PM Eastern / 4:00 PM Pacific, the class introduces timeless mindfulness practices that can be integrated into even the busiest lifestyles—no prior experience required. Each week, attendees will:

  • Explore a simple but powerful mindfulness tool
  • Learn how and why it works
  • Apply the practice in real time
  • Participate in Q&A and optional community discussion

The goal isn’t to reduce ambition, but to help professionals thrive without sacrificing well-being or relationships. With just 10 minutes a day, participants can begin to break the cycle of overexertion and experience greater clarity, fulfillment, and peace of mind.

Who Should Attend?

This group is ideal for overachievers and professionals who struggle to slow down, set boundaries, or prioritize themselves. It’s especially beneficial for those who are:

  • Constantly overworking or people-pleasing
  • Battling perfectionism or fear of failure
  • Feeling anxious, unvalued, or burnt out
  • Longing for connection, balance, and rest
