Dianne Kay Isaac Dotter, 84, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Born in Hazelton, Pennsylvania on February 2, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William G. Isaac and Lois Frey Isaac.
In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Dotter and granddaughter, Amanda DaGrosa.
Dianne is survived by her children, Debbie DaGrosa (Michael), Wayne Dotter (Jill Sasser), and Suzanne Binda (Bobby Dixon); grandchildren, Faith Hill (Daniel), Michael DaGrosa, Jon Dotter, Casey Adams (Michael) Matt Binda (Mary Casey), Blake Binda (Naelly) and Breanna Gibson (Chaz); and brother, Wayne Isaac (June). Dianne is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Michael, Emma, Penelope, Saige, Devin, Landin, Wesley, Bryson and Haydin as well as several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Dianne was a woman of kindness, joy, and quiet strength. A devoted member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Red Hat Society, she found joy in friendship and fellowship, always bringing warmth and laughter wherever she went. Her generosity extended beyond her social circles—Dianne was a dedicated volunteer with Meals on Wheels, delivering not just meals but also compassion and conversation to those in need.
Family was at the center of Dianne’s life. She had a special place in her heart for children and loved babysitting, often becoming like a second grandmother to many. Her nurturing spirit and endless patience left a lasting impression on every little life she touched.
Dianne shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Ron. She was a proud military spouse. Together, they enjoyed many happy hours at the bowling alley, forming memories that echoed with the sound of laughter and rolling pins. She also had a passion for shopping—always on the hunt for a good deal or the perfect gift—and found joy in life’s simple pleasures, like watching hummingbirds dance outside her window.
Dianne’s warmth, sense of humor, and generous heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, service, and joy lives on in the countless lives she touched.
The family would like to give a very special thank you to Gary Walker for the love and care you provided for Dianne for the last three years and during her final days. Simple words cannot express our gratitude.
A memorial service to celebrate Dianne’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Westwood United Methodist Church. Dianne will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in a private setting.
