GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Members of the Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Task Force have announced the culmination of a recent drug investigation involving local resident Ashley Renee Etheridge, 39, who is now facing serious criminal charges.
Investigation Uncovers Methamphetamine Supply Network
The investigation, initiated by the task force, focused on identifying individuals involved in the distribution of illegal substances within the Goldsboro area. During the course of the probe, authorities identified Etheridge as a key supplier of methamphetamine in Wayne County. A confidential controlled purchase was successfully conducted, confirming her role in the distribution network.
Warrants Secured Following Controlled Purchase
Based on the evidence gathered, law enforcement secured warrants for Etheridge’s arrest. She is now charged with one count of Trafficking Methamphetamine and one count of Selling Schedule II Controlled Substances. The combined total bond for her release has been set at $25,000.

It is noteworthy that Etheridge was previously arrested by the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office on June 4th. She has since been released on bond and is expected to appear in court later this month.
