William (Billy) Henry Ward, 73, of Pikeville passed away at UNC Rex Hospital on Monday June 9, 2025.  He was born on May 13, 1952 to the late Raymond Allen Ward and Carrie Lena Hill Ward.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Sherwood Ward, Michael Ward and sister; Vickie Ward Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Ward; son, Billy Ray Ward; daughter, Wendy Lorraine Ward; and grandchildren, Zachary Ward, Jordan Wiggs, Dillian Wiggs, and Madyson Weaver.
