Kenneth Harold Worrell, 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Born in Wayne County on November 25, 1931, Kenneth was the son of the late Bruce and Lucettia Overman Worrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Worrell Smith.

Kenneth had a love for the outdoors and took great pride in his yard, especially the many flowers he cultivated over the years. He was raised on a farm and carried the values of hard work and dedication throughout his life. Kenneth later found fulfillment working in auto sales, where he spent many enjoyable years.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 9, 2025 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. A graveside service will be on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Barbara Parks Worrell; his brothers, Bruce Worrell, Jr. and wife Ann, Billy Worrell and wife Sandra, and John Worrell; and his sister, Shirley Clark.
