Angela Hill Wilson

May 30, 2025, 72, Goldsboro —

Angela Hill Wilson, 72, passed away at her home on Friday, May 30, 2025 with her faithful canine companion, BJ, by her side.

Born August 31, 1952 to Mark Hill Jr. and Julia Dean Hoffman, Angela was raised in Kinston and lived a life defined by compassion, resilience, and love. A devoted spouse, mother, and Nana, she was a resourceful woman with a giving heart who constantly put others before herself. Always willing to lend a helping hand, she was a steady support for her family, friends, and church family.

A graduate of Grainger Hill High School, Angela obtained her associate degree in business from Lenoir Community College. She exhibited a great talent and profound love for record keeping and business administration. She later pursued her certification in electrical and mechanical licensing in order to be more proficient in her job. She quickly established a reputation for incredible detail, a strong business mind, and devotion to every job. Taking immense pride in her work and service to others, Angela held many titles and wore many hats within the business profession. Her meticulous attention to every detail in her work made her an asset to each position she held.

Beyond her work ethic, Angela was known for her generosity, compassion for others, and having a huge heart. From volunteering at church functions to lending a helping hand to those in need, Angela was always ready to do whatever she could to be of assistance.

At the core of Angela’s life was her family, whom she cherished more than anything. Her greatest title and the one of which she was most proud was “Nana”. Leaving behind a legacy of memories and network of loved ones, her family and friends will forever cherish the memories of laughter, graceful wisdom, and enduring love.

In her spare time, Angela enjoyed cross stitching, painting, wreath making, cooking, and spending time with family. Day trips to the outer banks while listening to beach music on the way, and all the simple pleasures of life were among her favorite times spent with her faithful and trusted sidekick and companion, Jack. You never saw one without the other. Angela’s zest for life was evident in every endeavor, inspiring those around her to do the same.

Angela’s legacy lies not only in her accomplishments and how she was filled with purpose and integrity, but also in the lives of the many she touched.

A service of love and remembrance will be held by the graveside at Pinelawn Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Rouse Funeral Home.
