Goldsboro, NC — In a heartfelt show of community support, Musgrave has donated a check to the Partnership for Children of Wayne County, helping to fund the upcoming Touch-a-Truck event and sustain essential programs for local families.
At a recent presentation, Blair Cox, Community Engagement and Development Coordinator for the Partnership for Children, expressed gratitude for the generous donation. “All programs and services offered through the Partnership for Children of Wayne County are free to families,” Cox emphasized. “Our goal is to serve and support families across Wayne County, and contributions like this make that possible. We’re incredibly thankful to Musgrave for their commitment to the community and for supporting our Touch-a-Truck event.”
Representing Musgrave Equipment Company at the check presentation was Tyler Byrd, who spoke to the company’s motivation behind the donation. “The Partnership for Children does wonderful things in this community,” Byrd said. “This Touch-a-Truck event is a great way for families to come together and see firsthand the positive impact this organization makes.”
The Touch-a-Truck event, a family favorite, allows children to explore, climb on, and interact with a variety of vehicles—including fire trucks, construction equipment, and more—while raising awareness for early childhood initiatives.
Cox also highlighted the vital role sponsors and donors play in ensuring the success of the organization. “Without the support of generous partners like Musgrave, we wouldn’t be able to continue offering our programs at no cost. Every donation helps us reach more families and deliver high-quality services and resources that can change lives.”
