Community Leaders Unite for “New Beginnings with Opportunities” Roundtable: A Call to Action in Goldsboro

Goldsboro, N.C. In a powerful display of unity and commitment to progress, leaders from across Wayne County will gather for the “New Beginnings with Opportunities” Roundtable Tuesday, May 13 evening. The event, held under the banner of “Less Talk, Less Excuses, and More Action,” aims to spark meaningful collaboration and concrete change in the community.

Set to take place at 6 PM at Rebuilding Broken Places (2105 N. William St., Goldsboro), the roundtable invites a wide range of local stakeholders. Representatives from organizations including Wayne County Public Schools, the Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, Goldsboro Parks and Recreation, United Way, local law enforcement, mental health services, educational institutions, faith groups, and civic organizations are all expected to participate.

The event will serve as a platform for information-sharing, fostering deeper connections among agencies and groups working to support youth, families, and underserved populations in Wayne County.

With a focus on collaboration and accountability, the evening’s theme, “We the Community: Together Changing the Narrative,” signals a new chapter in local efforts to address systemic challenges and uplift residents.
