Wayne County, N.C. — The Wayne County Register of Deeds Office has announced that it will temporarily suspend marriage license services on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, due to mandatory staff training.
While marriage licenses will not be issued that day, all other services offered by the office will continue as normal.
“We understand the importance of marriage license services and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” the office said in a statement. “This brief pause allows our staff to receive essential training to better serve the public.”
