March 4, 2022, 68, Princeton –

Pamela Peedin, 68, of Princeton, went to glory on March 4, 2022.  Pam was born to the late Myrhen and Chellie Parrish Poston on March 7, 1953.

She was a 1971 graduate of South Johnston High School and received her BA in Education from UNC – Pembroke in 1975.  Pam was a founding member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority at UNCP.  A gifted teacher, she taught kindergarten in Johnston County and was well-known for her animated storytelling and Halloween costumes.  Pam received the Long Leaf Pine Award for her 32 years in education.  She was an active member of Hephzibah Baptist Church and the Betty Massey Circle.  She was also the chief cook and meal planner for the AWANA program where she loved to see young children learn about Jesus.  Pam was an avid gardener, an excellent cook, and fluent in sarcasm.  She will be missed beyond words.

The Celebrating Service will be conducted 6:15 pm Monday, March 7, 2022 at Hephzibah Baptist Church with Reverend Kevin Drake officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall, which is connected to the back of Hephzibah Baptist Church, just prior to the service.
