(GDN) — That’s not what they mean when they say “Drive Up Service.”  A vehicle smashed into the Wells Fargo Bank at the Corner of E. Ash and N. William streets around 11 AM Monday.  According to the Goldsboro Police Department report, the driver stated she was parking in front of the bank when it felt like her accelerator got stuck.  Despite her efforts to hit the brakes, the vehicle lurched forward, jumping the curb and rammed through the bank’s front doors.  A pedestrian walking out of the bank was struck during the accident.  The GPD accident report says the driver was charged with Failure to Reduce Speed.
