Due to a power outage in the community, five Wayne County Public Schools are temporarily without power. Because the power outage is expected to continue into the afternoon, five schools will be dismissing early today. Eastern Wayne High, Eastern Wayne Elementary, and Meadow Lane Elementary will dismiss at 11:15 AM. The CDS program at Meadow Lane Elementary will dismiss at 11:30 AM. Greenwood Middle and Eastern Wayne Middle will dismiss at 12:30 today.
