Donna Johnson Mozingo, 69, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Donna was born in Wayne County on January 4, 1952 to the late Edward and Ida Mae Daughtry Johnson. She had worked with Lori Manufacturing in Goldsboro and later with her family at Elite Fashions in Downtown Goldsboro. Donna loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her precious grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and support for the people she cared about.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Donna’s life at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Casey Spaugh officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Donna is survived by her husband, Larry Mozingo; daughter, Nichole Mozingo and husband Mike Shearin; sons, Matthew Mozingo and wife Jennifer and Mark Mozingo and wife Lindzy; sister, Mary Ida Barber and husband Larry; brother, Benny Johnson and wife Cindy Anderson; grandchildren, Casey Spaugh and husband Kaleb, Zoe Shearin, Katelyn Franks, Meredith Mozingo, Mia Mozingo and Madilyn Mozingo; and her niece, Lindsay Orr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Craig Johnson.
