Matthew William Cook, 26, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Matthew was a fun loving guy that enjoyed being with family and friends. He was employed with Tarheel Basement Systems in Raleigh. Matthew will be remembered for his love of gaming, which he was quite good at it. He always enjoyed the opportunity to hang out with family and friends. Matthew could often be found at the beach, going to concerts, and making people laugh. He will be missed.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Matthew’s life at 4 p.m. in the chapel. A private interment will be held at a later date.

Matthew is survived by his grand-mom, Edith Jean Cook, who raised Matthew as her own; mother, Kimberly Cook Robbins; brother, Steven Frazier and wife Brandy; sister, Cary Walker and husband Daniel; nephews and niece, Dylan Frazier, Colin Walker, Ayden Frazier, and Alyssa Frazier; and his uncles, Jeff Cook and Brian Cook and their children, Ashley Cook and Brianna Cook.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl William Cook; and his father, Bobby Wadsworth.
