Brenda Joann Kascsak, 76 was “Healed in Jesus Name” on her earthly birthday, February 20, 2021. She was ushered into her heavenly home with NO MORE PAIN.

Well known as the Steak Barn Hostess to many in Wayne County, she was the loving and dedicated wife of David Kascsak, the mother of Jeff and Mark Williams, the grandmother of Austin Williams, the daughter of Lillian Pearce Johnson and Charlie Walter Johnson (deceased), the sister of Glenn, C.L., Walter Jr. Johnson (deceased), Lucille Woodard, Frances Waters, Sonya Seymour (deceased), and Melva Ipock, whom resides in Wayne County, who has kept her in high spirits with lots of stories to tell, much laughter, and many movies, meals, and holidays shared. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends are left behind.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Andy Stovall officiating.

She leaves behind her dedicated and loving caretaker of many years, her husband, David Kascsak, whom has stood by her side, trying to do everything possible to make her comfortable in all this pain and suffering.

Remember this, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes…no more death, sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. Rev. 21:4 KJV.
