Rickie Allan Bell, 63, passed away at his home on February 2, 2021. Born on June 26, 1957 in Bellevue, Pennsylvania, Rickie was the son of the late Earl Bell and Mary Eileen George Bell.

Rickie had a keen and deep appreciation for his country and the United States Air Force. Rickie served 20 years in the Air Force as a munition’s specialist, even serving combat time during Operation Desert Storm. Upon his retirement from the Air Force, he began to work at Firestone, where he retired with 25 years of experience.

Rickie will be remembered for loving three things in particular: his family, his country, and Harley Davidson. Nothing pleased Rickie more than being able to hop onto his bike to go for a ride. After serving in the Air Force, Rickie got involved in multiple motorcycle rider groups. Rickie was a member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association and a ride captain for the Patriot Guard Riders.

A private graveside service will be held for family and close friends at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery for on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 with Pastor Andy Stovall presiding. Guests are required to wear a facial covering and practice social distancing guidelines.

Rickie is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Donna Bell; daughter, Amanda Pliler, and son, Christopher Bell and Fiancée LeAnn Blake; grandchildren, Robert Pliler, Alexis Pliler, and Kenzie Pliler; Rickie is also survived by a brother, Raymond Bell; sister Sandy Stacy; aunt, Violet Chinn, and a special mother-in-law Donnie Smith.
